One year ago today, Israel suffered the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. To this day, Hamas continues to hold hostages in Gaza, including four Americans, while Iran plots additional attacks through its proxies. This is a time for moral clarity. It should be just as clear this October 7 as it was last October 7 that Israel has a right to defend itself and that America should stand steadfast behind its ally.

My opponent @scholten4congress just voted no on a bill to repeal the extreme EV mandate that would cripple the automotive industry in Michigan. Scholten disingenuously claims this is "not an EV mandate," even though no Detroit automaker could meet the government tailpipe requirements without selling massive and unrealistic numbers of EVs. Even worse, she trashes our state's bread-and-butter industry, saying this bill is "bending a knee to big polluters"---by which she means the Michigan automakers who provide livelihoods to hundreds of thousands of people in this state. Just an out of touch and unacceptable position for a member of Congress in Michigan.

It was a pleasure speaking to the residents of Breton Woods of Holland Homes! These folks asked some great questions, and allowed me to share my positive vision for our country and how I will represent all voters in West Michigan.

It was great to hear concrete ideas for how to get our state back on track today at the West Michigan Policy Forum. Michigan is going in the wrong direction in too many areas, from population growth to talent retention to educational achievement. The good news is that we know what we need to from a policy perspective to get back on course. Now it’s time to get to work.

I was in DC on 9/11 and I’ll never forget the surreal sight of fighter jets overhead our nation’s capital. I’m reflecting today on the tragic sacrifices of our first responders, the extraordinary acts of heroism from ordinary citizens, and the deep resolve of the American people. May we never forget.

Your taxes are set to go up automatically next year, by an average of almost $2,000. I think that's the last thing anyone needs right now, with families already paying over $10,000 a year more for basic essentials than we did just a few years ago. I'll vote against any tax hike in Congress. Can @scholten4congress say the same?

It was a special night as we honored Captain Miguel Nava, who tragically died serving his country this year. It was a true honor spending time with his wife Ryann and soon to be year old son and the whole Nava family. The very best of humanity was on display here at Comstock Park, with the whole community—including a 97 yr old WWII veteran (!)—coming together to support our neighbors in a wrenching time.

Excited to receive the endorsement of the @logcabinhq this week! It’s unity time - let’s bring everyone together to win this November. #PaulForAll

This is a red-alert situation. Per-pupil spending is higher than ever — at $9,608, basically the cost of a high-priced private-school education — but Michigan has tumbled to 42 in the nation in educational outcomes and over 60% of Michigan third-graders can’t read. Continuing down this path is setting up the next generation for failure. We need to promote innovation and reform in our educational system, including promoting data-backed phonics-based reading, supporting our overburdened teachers, and providing parents more options on how best to educate their kids.

My approach to politics is simple: Paul for All. I'm running for Congress to represent the whole district, not just a narrow segment of it. Everyone deserves a seat at the table, even if we disagree. Let’s focus on common-sense, common-ground solutions to move things forward for West Michigan.

It was great to meet with the folks at @crossroadsblueberryfarm to learn more about their impressive operation. We talked about labor issues and the ongoing frustration of navigating vague and excessive regulations from government agencies. When I’m in Congress, farmers will always have an ally and advocate fighting for them!

It’s time for @scholten4congress to drop the “fiscal responsibility” act. While she’s been in Congress, Michigan families are paying $10,000 more a year. She supported every penny of the trillion dollar spending bills that led to runaway inflation, she voted against every effort to rein in spending, and now supports economically illiterate proposals that would make the problem even worse.

I want to thank @jamichigangreatlakes for providing me a tour of their innovative facility. By providing an interactive learning environment, Junior Achievement is giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success and invest in their future.

I had the pleasure of speaking with the Rotary Club of Ada-Cascade! I was able to share why I’m running for Congress and hear how the Rotary Club is actively working to make a difference in the community.

I want to thank Jimdi Plastics for providing me a tour of their facility in Allendale Township! Michigan manufacturers like Jimdi are looking to innovate and grow their businesses. I look forward to working together to grow more manufacturing jobs right here in West Michigan.

I had a great time joining @616service for the Bipartisan Clean Up at Millennium Park! This was a terrific event that brought together elected officials and community leaders from across the political spectrum in a spirit of bipartisan service. Proud to be part of this noble effort.

I want to thank Cordes Inc. for hosting Senator @jdvance in Byron Twp! Michigan trucking companies like Cordes and other family-owned businesses across the state are struggling with high fuel costs and excessive government regulation. This November, we can do better!

I want to thank @dabsj for giving me a tour of their impressive new facility and sharing more about their important work in foster care and adoption. Adoption is a big part of my family story, and I look forward to working with DA Blodgett-St. John’s to continue improving the foster care system and making adoption a more viable option for more West Michigan families.

Humbled to have attended the 50th Anniversary of Gerald R. Ford’s presidency. It was an honor to meet the Ford family and honor their father’s legacy. “We are bound together by the most powerful of all ties, our fervent love for freedom and independence, which knows no homeland but the human heart.”

I had the pleasure of visiting with the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan to learn more about their mission to help older adults and persons with disabilities live in their community with independence and dignity. When elected to office, I will work with organizations across the district to ensure we are passing policies that effectively help our senior citizens.

The open-borders record of @scholten4congress has been lockstep with “Border Czar” @kamalaharris and the Biden-Harris Administration. Scholten’s views are out of step with her constituents and a stunning 80% of Americans. My statement on how we deserve better:

More confirmation that @scholten4congress’ decision to dump Biden from the ticket (but not call on him to resign) was based on raw political calculation due to collapsing polling numbers and concern for her own political survival.

A lot has changed in the presidential race in the past week, but nothing has changed @repscholten’s failed record, lockstep with this administration, on the border, inflation, and out of control spending.

Team Hudson had the honor of welcoming President @realdonaldtrump and senatorvance to Grand Rapids. Downtown was PACKED and it was a great opportunity to chat with voters with just over two weeks to go until the primary!

As we move closer to August 6th, Team Hudson had another busy week traveling across the district! From door knocking in Cannon Township, to attending a @southkentchamberofcommerce luncheon with members of the local business community, our campaign continues to focus on creating a better West Michigan for all.
